We have not entered too many awards over the years and have found that we have managed to win a few key ones based on other spotting the merits of what we do!
D&AD Yellow Pencil Award - OIAB
The Office in a Bucket product has proved to be the turning point in the history of Inflate. This product created the road map from small products to architecture, whilst at the same time keeping our definition of architecture still as a product. The D&AD award was a thrilling moment of recognition
Design Week Award - Unipart
This project is the result of a great client with belief in us and the agency WITH whom we worked on the project. The design of the structure happened pretty much intuitively and aesthetically remained the consistent through the technical development of the overall project. This to me is what makes certain projects worthy award winners
Peugeot Winner - Snoozy Bed
The desire for a modular bed design signified the end of an era for one side of Inflate. While we were working more and more on buildings the product design side was still full of energy. Winning the Peugeot award reflected the total relevance of the whole design studio to everything we do.
100% Design award - Airclad Best in Show
This site talks little about AirClad, but do watch out as this is a product that is determined to succeed. This award signifies a lot of what Inflate does. Inflate via AirClad create new and unseen opportunities.
100% Design Award - Inflatable Table Light
We won this award literally in spite of ourselves. We had not even entered the competition. We received a call from the judges saying that we were eligible to enter but had not. We were invited to enter that day, though we had no table lights in stock. In true Inflate style, one was made and biked over immediately.
We won and never looked back.
